Horoscopes and what might be

“Yesterday’s high-spirited mood keeps the fun going today, but without incurring any penalties. You will be in an irresistibly charismatic mood, which bodes well for your relationships. Attached Pisceans can look forward to a cozy evening, while singles can look forward to a buzzing one!

I’ll admit that I’ve never been a great fan of horoscopes. During my Christian years I viewed them with deep-seated suspicion for their clearly demon-inspired error, and nowadays as a free thinking New Ager with nonchelant indifference.

BUT ….

(and please humour me if you have already figured this out for yourself) I have discovered a rather handy way to use my horoscope. Rather than viewing it as a predestined prophecy of how my day will be, I see it as a possible reality that I can create for myself should it so appeal to me.

There you have it.

Brilliant! Seriously, I had never thought of it that way, drawing the same to prior conclusions you did as a christian and free thinker. Ah, the freedom to draw your own conclusions.

My wife, Dr. Rosie, and I love the way you have chosen to view the horoscopes as well. It sure helps to see clearly what going on around us and be co-creators in the system or game of life.

Our main reason for responding is to inquire about the terms you call yourself. Old Christian and New Ager – we have found it befitting to notice that we are merely all agers – since the soul and we by extension are actually timeless.

You remind people their future will unfold based on their free will in relation to an array of choices.

Very good, a prompt for creating your reality if you so choose.

Generally, it is not known that there are two very different forms of western ‘astrology’. What is most popular and most sought after is EXoteric. Like what is quoted in your post, it is what I call “coffee table” astrology, meant for entertainment purposes only.

There is another branch, called ESoteric, that most of us do not have the Courage to delve into. It involves the study of the “Mysteries of the Cross” as exemplified by Christ.

Care to play a game with me?

Then grant me the opportunity and the honor of giving you a ‘reading’. What is your birthday? I do not care where or when.

    grinning…
