Relationship Poem

The perfect mate to make me whole
To fill my heart, to thrill my soul
What idle folly to believe
One but myself could this achieve

To think that someone else could fill
Who I Am Not most surely will
Be doomed and sealed to fail and fall
and better not to start at all
